In 2023, shrouded in grief, heartbreak, and uncertainty, The 30 Journeys founder Trish Tassin threw caution to the wind and purchased a used conversion van she named Louise.
What began as an ending quietly unfolded into a beginning—not just of her own healing, but of a new literary vision. Along the way, she encountered extraordinary women—fierce, kind, radiant—who had also chosen the road as their path to wholeness. Each one carried a story of grit, grief, resilience, and quiet transformation. What they shared over campfires and under canyon skies was too powerful to stay in the shadows.

Trish Tassin has never followed the straight path; she’s blazed her own trail across continents, careers, and callings. Born in Southern California, she’s followed a lifelong calling to see and experience the world, exploring 45+ countries and calling London, San Francisco, Portland, Southern California and the open road home.
